Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Quitlist, operated by Pack6 LLC. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

1. The service

Quitlist is operated by Pack6 LLC (“we”, “us”). It reads the headers of messages in the email accounts you connect to find services you may have accounts with. It then gives you deletion guides, request drafts and a place to track your progress.

Quitlist does not close accounts or send requests for you. You decide what to close and take each step yourself. Whether and how a company deletes your account or data is up to that company. We cannot guarantee that a request will succeed or that our list includes every account you have.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract to use Quitlist. You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for keeping that account secure and for all activity under your Quitlist account.

3. Mailboxes you connect

You may connect only mailboxes that you own or are authorized to access. When you connect one, you permit us to read message headers through your email provider, solely to provide the service to you. Access is read-only: Quitlist cannot send, change or delete your email. You can disconnect a mailbox at any time, and we then delete its stored access token.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • connect a mailbox that isn't yours or that you aren't authorized to access;
  • use Quitlist in violation of any law or anyone's rights;
  • use drafts or guides to make false, abusive or fraudulent requests to any company;
  • probe, disrupt or get around the service's security or limits, or try to access another person's data;
  • copy, resell or offer the service to others as your own without our written agreement.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

5. Free preview and purchases

The free preview checks recent email in one mailbox per person. Paid passes are one-time purchases, not subscriptions, and never renew:

  • A Cleanup Pass ($29) covers one mailbox. An additional mailbox ($12) covers one more mailbox once you hold a Cleanup Pass.
  • A pass lets you scan that mailbox's available history, up to 10,000 matching emails per scan and one fresh scan per day, for 30 days from your first completed scan.
  • Your account list, guides, progress tracking and data export stay free after a pass ends.

Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record, which handles payment, taxes and receipts under its own terms. Prices are shown before you pay and may change for future purchases.

Refunds. If a scan can't finish, your 30 days don't start. To ask for a refund, open your receipt from the Plans page or contact us. A full refund ends the pass; anything already found stays in your list. Nothing in these terms limits refund rights you have under consumer law.

6. Your data

You own your data. You give us only the limited permission we need to store, process and display it to provide Quitlist to you. We do not sell it. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we handle it, including data from Google.

7. Guides, drafts and third parties

Deletion guides are information, not legal advice. We check our own guides by hand and date them, but companies change their processes. Entries from the community JustDeleteMe directory are marked unverified. Request drafts that cite laws such as the GDPR or CCPA are templates; check that they fit your situation before you send them.

Quitlist depends on services we don't control, including Google, Lemon Squeezy and the companies you contact. We are not responsible for their availability, decisions or changes.

8. Disclaimers

Quitlist is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that it will find every account, or that any company will delete an account or data.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Pack6 LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of Quitlist. Our total liability for all claims about the service is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You will indemnify and hold Pack6 LLC harmless from claims that arise from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the service, or your connecting a mailbox you weren't authorized to access.

11. Termination

You can stop using Quitlist and delete your account in Settings at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, for legal reasons, or if we discontinue the service. We will give reasonable notice where we can. Sections that by their nature should survive, including 6, 8, 9, 10 and 13, survive termination.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes, we will tell you by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using Quitlist after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms. The date at the top always shows the current version.

13. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be resolved in the courts of Jamaica. This does not take away protections you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
